I met Fred in the mid eighties in New Paltz, NY after he was the opening act for the John Herald Band.

He invited me to a bbq at his house across the street where he lived with his wife and two daughters.

We've been pretty tight friends ever since. Fred is into anything that rolls down the road and is a great songwriter/singer/guitarist. In May 2010 I joined him in Ojai and Santa Barbara, CA to record his album Heartland.
