Molly Kaufmann

Molly and I grew up on opposite sides of the same apartment building in Mt Vernon, NY decades ago. She is my musical cousin and the person who introduced me to jazz. My favorite part of family get togethers was the after dinner show when my dad would ask Molly to play some boogie woogie on the piano. She's been entertaining worldwide ever since with a special blend of ragtime, barrel-house piano, comedy, and blues songs complete with vocals. Molly is the only member of our family who has gigged in Australia, as far as I know.
